Scott's Downtown Set to Open in November

UPDATE!! Scott Dixon, owner and chef of longtime Gainesville favorite Scott’s Downtown is set to open up after months of updates and renovations! After the hard freeze last December there was a leak in the lounge area. He hopes to be open in November with a fresh, updated look in the restaurant, lounge and upstairs banquet area. He said the menu will be refreshed leaving some favorites and adding new items, as well. The original bar in the lounge was able to be saved after the water leak and it looks as beautiful as ever! There are a couple surprises that you’ll see when they open in November; one that can be released now is a new patio area!
